Bottegavaga is a Venetian theatre company, a theatre family founded by three people with the same dreams, projects who share the same artistic and ethical vision.
Artistic director Alberta Toninato is joined by professional actors Vanni Carpenedo and Betty Andriolo. Vanni boasts solid technical training that ranges from physical theatre to Commedia dell’Arte. Betty, a versatile actor, is also fluent in English, thus making our shows more international (some of them are bilingual).
This close-knit group often crosses paths with other colleagues, among whom are Luigi Pozza, cofounder at Bottegavaga, and artists such as Linda Bobbo, Paola Brolati, Marta Richeldi e Christian Renzicchi, who are currently working in our shows.
Over time, Bottegavaga has developed its own artistic language which reflects precise aesthetics and methods. With passion and professionality, the company puts tradition and innovation together, making every show a unique and enchanting experience.
