This is the story of Alessandro Tandura, the first parachutist in the world, in his mission during the First World War. Born and lived in Vittorio Veneto, he becomes the hero of the story through the memories of a 100 year-old grandmother and the imagination of her grandchild listening. Freely inspired by Tandura’s autobiography, told by the skilful physical actor Vanni Carpenedo. Director Alberta Toninato has gone back to her roots, drawn by her personal relationship with Maria Tandura, her great-grandmother.
