Adapted from A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens
Old, stingy, grumpy Scrooge is transformed into Pantalone, the archetype of miserliness of Commedia dell’Arte. The London of the industrial revolution becomes the Venice of Carlo Goldoni. Pantalone meets the three ghosts of Christmas: Christmas Past, Christmas Present, and Christmas Future. How can Pantalone save himself from his selfishness and solitude?
